Elytra Shield's website uses zero cookies. We set no first‑party cookies and load nothing that sets third‑party cookies. Under the DPDPA and GDPR/ePrivacy rules, no consent banner is required because we store nothing on your device for tracking and share no data with anyone.

What we do not use

No analytics — no Google Analytics or any usage tracking.
No advertising or social pixels — no Meta, LinkedIn, or ad‑network tags.
No third‑party embeds — no external maps, videos or widgets that phone home.
No fonts from a CDN — typefaces are self‑hosted, so your browser makes no request to Google Fonts or anyone else.
No fingerprinting — we do not attempt to identify your device or browser.

The one thing stored on your device

If you switch the site between dark and light mode, your choice is saved in your browser's local storage under a single key (es-theme) so the site remembers it on your next visit. This is a strictly functional preference:

It stays on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else.
It contains only the word dark or light — no identifier, no tracking value.
It is not a cookie and is not used to recognise or profile you.

You can clear it at any time through your browser's "clear site data" / local storage controls, with no loss of functionality.

Why this matters for compliance

Because we store nothing for tracking and share no personal data with third parties through the site, there is nothing to consent to at the cookie level. The only place we ask for consent is the evaluation form, where you choose to send us your contact details — covered by our Privacy Policy.
